Maine Central engineer Ralph Brown of South Portland has passed away. Hiredout in 1963, Ralph loved to work the spare board and play cards. A good natured man and member of the S. Portland eagle club, Ralph was loved bu everyone who knew him. He passed quickly from cancer and said "Why does it take so long to die?" "I just want to go to Heaven". He loved his church, his family and friends and especially his wife and best friend for his whole life. There will be a service tomorrow at Grace Bible Church in Gorham Maine at 2 pm on Deering road between rt 22 and rt 202 near the Gorham Buxton town line... near the old Worceste, Nashua & Portland Main Line. friends and family will be there to celebrate this wonderful man's life and trade stories after with a pot luck supper. The Niles family, closely tied with him will be there to celebrate his life as well.
